Women's Open-Back Adaptive Blouse Grey Stripe

The M043 Style 0010 adaptive blouse has a grey diagonal stripe design with loose bell sleeves and a fully opening back. Its overlapping rear panels and shoulder poppers can make assisted dressing easier where raising or bending the arms is uncomfortable. The blouse retains the appearance of an everyday top from the front, while offering access for a carer at the back.

The soft polyester-and-spandex blend has some stretch, and the blouse is designed at a manageable length for seated wear. Check the original size-guide images below, particularly bust and waist measurements, before selecting a size. This style requires assistance to close the back securely. Keep loose fabric clear of wheelchair wheels and check that poppers do not press against the skin.

The fabric closes on one another to cover the whole back providing comfort and dignity. It gives full coverage for the wearer and looks like a traditional top at first glance.

Additionally, the fuller arm design means it can be removed without too much bending of the arms or lifting them above the head. A huge benefit for the elderly or those suffering from restrictive conditions such as Cerebral Palsy, Muscular Dystrophy, Stroke or Multiple Sclerosis.
